Lenny Wilkens Immortalized at Climate Pledge Arena 🏀
Lenny Wilkens will soon become a permanent fixture at Climate Pledge Arena, as Seattle prepares to unveil his statue on Saturday, June 28th. This tribute honors Wilkens’ profound impact—leading the SuperSonics to the city’s first NBA title and remaining a pillar in Seattle’s sports and community life. With 1,300 NBA wins and Hall of Fame status, his legacy lives on both on and off the court.
Positioned near the site where the SuperSonics once played, the statue is more than a sports tribute—it’s a symbol of Wilkens' lifelong commitment to uplifting youth and giving back to the community. His dedication to health equity and supporting local children through programs like the Odessa Brown Clinic continues through the work of the Lenny Wilkens Foundation.
To celebrate this historic moment, we invite you to make a donation in honor of the statue unveiling. 100% of donations go directly to support children in need—providing access to healthcare, education, and recreation.
