Each year, the Lenny Wilkens Foundation hosts fundraisers for the Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic and other organizations that deliver healthcare and education services to children and their families. Our biggest event is the annual Lenny Wilkens Foundation Celebrity Classic Weekend, featuring a Dinner Auction and Golf Tournament with celebrities from the world of sports, entertainment, and business. 2011 Celebrity Classic Weekend On August 12, Marilyn and Lenny Wilkens helped launch the weekend with the Celebrity Classic Weekend Benefit Dinner and Live Auction. The doors opened at 5:30 p.m. allowing guests to walk the red carpet and bid on dozens of silent auction items. At 7:30 p.m. guests were invited into the Grand Ballroom to the music of ONCORE. Throughout the night guest were entertained by the hosts and given an opportunity to bid on wonderful item ranging from a Ben Bridge Jewelers Diamond Loop to an actual Pepsi Vending Machine autographed by all of our celebrity guests. On August 13, a sold out group of players, sponsors, and celebrity guests all came together for a great round of golf in the annual Lenny Wilkens Celebrity Golf Tournament at The Golf Club at Echo Falls.
