2013 Celebrity Classic Weekend

The Lenny Wilkens Foundation is proud to once again team up with the Bellevue Hyatt Regency and Scott Oki's Golf Club at Echo Falls in order to host the Celebrity Classic Weekend. This two day event raises funds for childrens charities in and around the Greater Seattle area. The yearly donation to the Odessa Brown Childrens Clinic represents the single hightest source of funds from private donors.

Toshiba sponsored the 2012 Lenny Wilkens Foundation: Celebrity Classic Weekend. Each year the annual Lenny Wilkens Foundation Celebrity Classic Weekend kicks off with a gala Dinner Auction bringing celebrity and caring individuals togther for an exciting and festive fundraiser of the year. The next day’s SOLD OUT shotgun bestball - scramble Golf Tournament rounded out the weekend. Participants included stars from the world of sports, entertainment, and business.

Looking back at our 2011 event

At the 2011 Celebrity Classic Weekend Dinner Auction, guests enjoyed a memorable evening hosted by Foundation founders Lenny and Marilyn Wilkens at the Bellevue Hyatt Regency. More than 600 guests included community and corporate leaders, celebrities and other VIP’s. The evening’s pre-dinner Silent Auction featured autographed sports memorabilia, fine jewelry and wines, original works of art by renowned Northwest artists and more. Live Auction Master of Ceremonies Jessie Jackson, KING-5 TV, entertained while auctioneer Stephen Killbreath of KMPS radio and auction reader Shaniqua Manning, also of KING-5 TV, drove the bidding upward. Live music from ONCORE had guests up and dancing by the end of this great evening of fund-raising for children’s healthcare. A special tip of the hat to Kenny Mayne for his contributions to a special event.
